As you meditate—at least the way that I teach it—and expand awareness past the drama of your thoughts into the stillness of your soul, the 5th state of consciousness—witnessing consciousness—inevitably develops.
It feels like there is this tremendous space in and around you, and that space is amazingly peaceful.
This peace transforms you. It is you.
You begin to see everything within your head for what it is, and break the identification with your stories.
You know you’re not your thoughts.
There is a freedom in this, and it’s also called the first stage of enlightenment. Because you have a very real inner experience that shatters your old world view.
And this is just the beginning!
